How soon can I drive on new asphalt?
Light vehicles can usually drive on it the next day. In hot weather, wait 24–48 hours so the surface can harden properly.
How thick is the asphalt you lay?
Residential driveways are typically 25–40 mm over a compacted base. Commercial car parks and roads are usually 40–60 mm, depending on traffic.
Do you handle base preparation and drainage?
Yes. We cut, box out, install and compact the base, then set correct levels and falls so water drains away from buildings and toward pits or swales.
Can you work around business hours or school times?
Yes. We can schedule early mornings, nights or weekends and provide traffic control so operations continue safely.
Should I resurface or rebuild?
Resurface if the base is sound and cracks are minor an overlay adds a fresh wearing course. Rebuild if there’s base failure, pumping fines or deep rutting.
Do you do small repairs like potholes and edge breaks?
Absolutely. We saw cut, tack coat and compact patches flush with the existing surface, and we can crack seal to stop water ingress.
How long will a new driveway last?
With correct base prep and maintenance, 15–20 years is typical. Regular crack sealing and prompt repairs extend life.
What areas do you service?
Greater Adelaide and surrounding regions. If you’re outside the metro area, ask we often travel for larger jobs.
Do you organise line-marking and wheel stops?
Yes. We can supply and install line marking, bollards and wheel stops as part of your commercial or council project.
